Robert Maurer, the founder of KTR, has had 25 years of experience with the New Jersey Department of Personnel testing program, a significant amount of which was in the law enforcement and fire areas. Bob has an M.S. degree in psychology. While at the Department of Personnel, he served as Supervisor of Research & Special Programs, Deputy Director of Examinations for Test Development, and Director of Selection & Placement. During his career, Bob has written, edited, administered and scored thousands of multiple choice, oral, performance, and assessment test questions; trained dozens of test developers and test proctors; developed and implemented test development and test administration procedures; and set passing points for thousands of multiple choice, free answer, and oral tests. Bob will share his considerable experience with New Jersey Department of Personnel procedures, test development, certifications, eligibility lists, veterans preference, appeals, and related matters with the students.
