Even the most comprehensive program will not be effective without good instructors, and KTR has invested significant effort in selecting the highest quality instructors. The instructors have been selected for their knowledge of the material and their ability to present the material in an understandable and logical manner.

CAPTAIN MICHAEL J. BRAMHALL has been a member of the West Caldwell Police Department since 1988 and currently serves as the operations & administrative officer for the department. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1999, Lieutenant in 2000, and Captain in 2003. Captain Bramhall has an A.S. Degree from the County College of Morris and is a graduate of Northwestern University's School of Police Staff and Command. Captain Bramhall joined the Key Testing & Review team in 2002 as an instructor for IACP examinations after years of teaching this concept privately.

CAPTAIN ANTHONY G. SALERNO is the President/CEO of Salerno Consultants Inc., the parent company of Key Testing & Review. He has twenty-five years of training and human resource development experience and seventeen years of law enforcement experience. Captain Salerno brings to KTR many of the strategies and concepts that made his students so successful on New Jersey Department of Personnel promotional examinations statewide. He is a Captain on the Asbury Park Police Department, and is currently the Commander of the Investigative Section, which includes the Detective Bureau, Juvenile Bureau, and the narcotics Unit. He has received nine department citations, including the Medal of Honor and Combat Cross. He is a graduate of the prestigious Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command and a former graduate assistant instructor for the Dale Carnegie School.

Captain Salerno is an adjunct instructor for Northwestern University’s Center for Public Safety, and teaches for them in the Supervision of Police Personnel Program and the Executive Management Program. He is a New Jersey State certified instructor on staff at the Monmouth County Police Academy. Prior to law enforcement, Mr. Salerno was the Director of Training for L.R.C., Inc. and Vice President of Human Resources/Training for Weinerwald International, which owned over 1400 restaurants worldwide. He’s a member of the American Society for Law Enforcement Trainers, New Jersey State P.B.A., The Italian American Police Society, the New Jersey Interscholastic Athletic Association and the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
