Dear Key Testing Members:On TV it's glamorous to have Donald Trump fire you. In real life when you lose your job or face prison it's serious business.
Today the New Jersey Attorney General's Office announced the indictment of a Hudson County Sheriff for Official Misconduct in Office for cheating on the 2002 Department of Personnel sergeant promotional examination. This charge is a second degree crime and the penalty can mean a twenty year prison sentence. For LEO's we also lose our job, benefits and pensions.
As you know I detest cheaters, especially those who cheat their peers in law enforcement. I was at the forefront of the change in the Military, Marital, and Medical make-up examination fiasco. Today, we have a fair policy in place where a different examination is given for make-ups. This change was to stop the blatant cheating that existed during the old policy.
The reason I detest cheating on promotional exams so much is because they are screwing their friends, their peers, their backup on serious calls and their families. It is cops screwing cops and that is deplorable.

In this case you will read about the extent a person is willing to go to get promoted. We spend our time preparing the honest hard working officers in NJ for promotion. I applaud those in our school and our competitors as they are doing things right and making this profession better. If you are testing this year and need assistance, contact Jennifer at out office at 1-800-583-1549, we still have a few seats available.
Good luck this year and as always stay safe.
